Guess that's it for trial runs after work. Too dark in the thick of the forest had me stumbling over tree roots and stomping into invisible mud pits...
Began by running all the way up the access trail to the top of the D-Sen MTB course. Man is it ever cool! Ran down the course getting massive air off the jumps like Mark Weston off the Kamui kicker. It really is cool, so you clowns gotta bring down yer bikes, or we can get some here and let's hit it up!
It was dark by the time I got home, caked in mud, but Tsumugi was waiting to take Yuum and I out to Niseko's best sushi restaurant for dinner, all on the Coach's money - thanks Coach!
Shoe review: Have been wearing the new trail sneaks around for the past few days, and was a little worried about blisters & sizing issues... But once they're properly laced up and rippin' thru the rocks, mud and trails, they're awesome! Way better than the 900k+ Nike slick soles I'm used to...
