Out with the big boys from Team Niseko boys for a long ride with 4 major climbs.
Managed to top out in first place on 3 of the 4 climbs - climbing really well recently!
Should've left something extra in the tank because completely fell to pieces on the final climb at 120k, 6km @ 6% - 8% into stiff headwind had me ready to cry and I bonked something fierce...
Made it home after battling demoralizing winds the last 40k.
Route followed #393 over the mtns, backroads behind Yoichi to Otaru, Asari up to Akaigawa, and back onto #393 over the mtns to Kutchan, Niseko and home.
Knackered.
