Feet got blisters because socks were soaked. These socks or these shoes aren't working for me.
I need to work that out by doing some tempo/speed workouts in them with different sock brands.
Went out with the idea that I would just lay in 2nd place and then try to make a move but nobody went out hard (I think everyone was miserable) and I ran a slow-ish first mile (I thought) at 5:45 and nobody was with me, I refused to look back and just run the best I could despite being miserably hot. 2nd mile I felt like I had a good lead but still wasn't looking, I know I slowed down but it was mainly to conserve. Last mile was slow, purposefully .. I thought if someone got within reach to take the lead from me I wanted to have something to give. It ended up being Andy and he was 45 seconds behind me. 1st win in quite a while. Won $50.00
