Third marathon and very happy with the results. I was nursing an ankle injury for 3 weeks and it started to hurt around mile 15. It rained throughout the race but the only time it down poured was while running through Iroquois Park. The hills there were not horrible, but did take their toll on the ankle. Fought off hints of cramping started at about mile 16, but nothing slowly down slightly wasn't able to manage. Still had more in the tank at the end, it was really my leg conditioning that was holding me back. I don't feel I had a solid enough base of miles, but still got my sub 10:00 pace marathon done!
