Hansons' plan is 6 @ MP today. However, with Afton in 2 days, I did 2 @ MP, with 3 w/u and 2.5 c/d (total 7.5 mi).
Power during the 2 MP miles was
1) 7:06 min/mi --> 273W
2) 6:50 min/mi --> 276W
The power "range" was much wider in the first mile, due to a long uphill stretch. The second mile was flatter, and I was able to stay closer to the target power of 275W.
[2 miles at MP-ish felt more difficult than it should today, in my opinion. 6 miles would have been really hard to sustain. Maybe weather, maybe my fitness.]
