10 Mile Tempo run + 1 mile w/u + 1 mile c/d. 10 miles at avg pace of 7:01 (6:50 to 7:10 range). HR avg'd ~158-159 during 10 mile tempo portion. Felt solid. For the Hanson's plan, this run should be at MP, which would translate to a 3:05 marathon ... Maybe I'm pushing too hard on these runs? Next weeks "strength" workout is 6 x 1 mi at MP-10, so that would be 6:51 pace. Seems doable.
