6.7 mile Fartlek run on ACIST treadmill #2.
HR numbers were erratic and unreliable until more than 3 miles into it. Blame it on a new Technical shirt (Grandma's Training shirt). Numbers improved once I got sweaty AND tucked my shirt into my shorts.
Otherwise, the run felt great. Did a short blast at 10 mph, a few 9 and 9.5 mph short stretches, and some 7.5 and 8 mph sustained runs (2 minutes or so). I went more gradual on the handful of hills I did, doing a short 6%, 8% and 10% incline run for only about 30 seconds.
My effort felt appropriate this week -- unlike last week where I went much too hard.
