20.1 miles, 2:45:43 (8:15 avg pace). Kept it easy; yesterday's Out-n-Back on Treadmill was pretty brutal. Still, it really didn't feel that long ... probably due to the nice cool temps (mid-50's). Tried Clif Shot Blocks at end, starting with about 3 miles left to go. I ate 3 of them, 1 per mile, washed down with water. Seemed like a nice boost. No other carbs before or during the run. 3 of those blocks has roughly same amount of carbs as a gel, I think. But nice to spread it out with the pieces, less messy, chewing seems like it does something for me when I'm depleted. Not sure if the Sport Beans is a better option. I'm leaning toward the Shot Blocks due to the packaging (easy to carry and dispense one at a time), number of blocks in a pack (6, equivalent to 2 gels), etc.
