Hamel Loop

Notes

LMLS, Cut-Downs -- 2 X (3 X 100m) at progressively faster paces, SAM Easy

Actually felt like I was really flying on my last set. No strain in the right hammy, the dull fatigue I felt yesterday was greatly diminished. I will do a real easy jog tomorrow in preparation for a serious FFLR on Saturday totaling 19 or so miles. Looking forward to that, which kicks off a 3-week taper.

ETA:

The pace plot on Garmin Connect looks textbook: 2 sets of 3 spikes in pace, each set ramping up from just under 6-minute pace on the first, to just under 5-minute pace on the 3rd of each set (4:40 max pace on the last rep). Avg HR was about 129, with the Max of 162 on the very last repeat. This time running it, it felt close to what I EXPECT it to feel like when I read the description of the workout. My body mostly gets a recovery benefit from today, with some neurological stimulus from the short bursts.
