Plan: 4 miles at ~6:40 pace. Reality: Unable to keep up. 9 mph for 1st mile (~6:40 pace) seemed way too hard, so I slowed it down to 8.7 mph. Tough workout. The treadmill works me harder than the speeds indicate. In other words, 9 mph on my TM equates to a faster/harder effort than a 6:40 pace outdoors. I'll try to shoot for 8.8 mph on my next LT workout on the TM.
