10 mile PCR (1 mile w/u, 8.5 miles at 7.6-7.9 mph, then 0.5 mile c/d). Avg HR 155 bpm (program range = 155-173). Felt good. When I started, I thought 7.6 mph (7:53 program pace) would be too difficult, but I kept bumping up the speed just to get my HR up into the range (i.e., >155 bpm). At 7.9 mph and 1% incline, I stayed very close to 161 bpm, even at the end. I didn't want to go up much higher though, since my LT must be somewhere around 162 (according to my estimates -- perhaps it's higher than I thought!!).
