with Ben. 14 miles of mud and water with a few land crossings. Perhaps the muddiest race I've ever done. Most people bailed on the 14 mile route and chose the 7 mile at the turn around. Slackers! :-) I think I have mud permanently embedded under my toe nails. How it managed to get through my shoes and gaiters remains a mystery.
