Was going to run short, but routes that I thought would lead me back to the Iron Horse Trail didn't pan out. Did have a unique opportunity to cross through the middle of the Abba Self-Storage facility because a couple of EBMUD guys were on the other side with their trucks. Unfortunately, the other side was a dead end. They didn't seem to mind my trespassing, but I asked them how to get back to where I was, mostly just to make sure they weren't going to call the cops (they didn't know, anyway) and with the distant hope that they'd invite me to run under the bridge to the front of the facility, which they didn't, so I went the long way back. Speed was pretty decent, especially once I was running on new streets, even through I kept hitting dead ends! Like at the high school, which actually wasn't a dead end as I found out only after going around the whole block. I need to find a new watch because my current green one has a fractured band that will probably break in time.
