Really nice progression run this morning. Plan was 30min warm-up, 30 min a little slower than tempo, 30 minutes a little faster than tempo. Executed pretty well, naturally sped up a little quicker than I was planning until I was running 6:00 pace in the third mile. Most of the stuff in the second 30 minute segment felt relaxed.

From 60 to 73 minutes felt pretty rough, but it turns out I was going up a slight incline on Tyne and didn't really realize it, so when I turned around, I started flying. Last 15 minutes were really strong. I wasn't planning on picking it up to half marathon pace (or realistically a little faster than 1/2 pace at this point), but it felt good.

While the average pace was 5:50, my average for the last 12.44 miles after the warm-up was 5:34; very similar to what I was doing with Scott, though on a little flatter course.

Finished not feeling too tired. Good workout.
