8x1k w/2:00 rest
Thought about postponing this workout because it was really windy and rainy out today, but on the warmup with the team I was feeling good so I decided to go for it.
Workout was really in control and I was pretty much fully recovered after 1:30, so I decided to cut the rest down from 2:30 to 2:00. I didn't exactly know what my pace goal was going in, but I was planning on starting around 3:00 to 3:02. Obviously I was feeling better than that. On some of the intervals, the wind would really pick up, particularly on the last rep where I felt like I was going backwards at points.
Not as good as the workout last fall where I did 6xmile in ~4:42, but that was a perfect fall morning as opposed to a blustery, wet afternoon. That being said, I'm not sure I quite could have replicated that workout even in ideal conditions, but I don't think I'm too far away.
