Cold and breezy out. Went out w/a comfy pace, backed off a little and ran w/a guy named Lars. We hung together and chatted a bit throughout the race - the pace looked very easy for him. There was a strong wind against us after the 3.5 mile turn-around point. There was often traffic to deal with on the way back, too. 39:43 at the 10k. Not an all out effort today- never really pushed it. Ran 43:22 here last year, so it's a little slower, but with the wind and effort level I think I'm happy with it.
