Gale-force wind and rain on the way back. Sometimes you just have to throw up your hands and laugh. A woman in a pickup pulled alongside and called out "are you OK?".
Intentional walk breaks once I got to town center. I have to baby my Achilles as much as possible if I want to have any chance now of staying on track. Overall much better than yesterday. But I still felt the Achilles most of the way.
I've been aggressive with ice and compression socks. Foot swelling has gone down.
