5x1000m @ 5:57. After comparing to last year's workout -- nominally 6:00 pace, but ran "a few seconds faster, last at at 5:48" -- I picked it up a tad, more like 5:54 average, last one at 5:44.
Just like last year, felt pretty easy. I do think the Garmin is lying to me, crediting me with extra distance. But I can still compare to last year's workout on the same track. No surprise that it's harder to do the VO2Max in a straight line, e.g. Springwater Corridor in Portland.
