I took most of the week off after the previous disaster run. I didn't expect much better today, but this was my last long-shot chance at White River. Plan was 30 miles on the Wildwood trail, two weeks out. I fully expected to have to start walking the downhills as soon as I hit them -- and that's what happened. Again, I walked most of the way home. The end.
