Planned 8 yesterday, 18-20 today. But the tib anterior complained all day yesterday, and hurt when I started to run. Or more likely, flexor digitorum longus, that I tore at Run4Water, in combination with all the peroneal damage.

So... once again, shut it down, be safe. Too many convenient excuses. I'm never going to get my miles back up.

And just an easy 8 on the track today, keep it flat.

I always break through a wall and running seems easy when I go over about 80 mpw. It's getting back there that's the hard part. I think a lot of it is doing doubles -- I get less stiff and sore between workouts, and running becomes more of an accustomed activity. So maybe try doing easy 4-5 mile doubles starting this coming week?
