Not sure what to think about this. It was kind of a test -- if I blew it, I was going to pull the plug on D3. Did I blow it? Dunno.

Planned 24 @ 9 min pace running, + walks. Didn't manage it. Didn't expect to manage it. Still slower than 24-hour race pace. But...

1. Very stressed and sleep deprived from past 2 1/2 weeks

2. Weight still up 5% from fall

3. I blew last week's long run, but did better this run than I planned last week.

So, hmmmmm. On the plus side, the hamstring never bothered me that much. That shut me down last week. But the Achilles never let me forget it was there. And the damn toe still hurts, but seems manageable. The scary thing about this run and last week is just the fatigue level I feel after 16 or so miles. Where is my endurance??? The level I ran at in December now seems totally unattainable. It did get easier when I switched the water + walk breaks from every 4 laps (2 miles) to 3, then to 2. Gave me a second wind. But I was still totally spent at the end, and pretty beat up.

So, still not quite ready to give up, I guess. I didn't quite hit the planned 80, but I"ll take 77. This week has to be about 90. We'll see...
