Notes
An experiment. Last week 2 miles at 6:48 was tough. This week I tried what Pam does: 100g of carbs the night before. Result: last week, HR peaked at 160 and I had to stop. This week, peaked at 151-152, and I felt OK (but stopped anyway, didn't want to mess anything up before 50k this weekend). I will need more data, but this is interesting.
Aches: Tried to head out twice this morning; Achilles said NO. Bummer, the test was supposed to be run the morning after the carbs. OK by afternoon. Right hip still a bit wonky. Going in to see Dr. Saxena for Achilles tomorrow. This has gone on long enough.
