Skipped yesterday's planned 11, ugh! At the time I thought I was just being lazy for no reason. But I woke up today feeling crappy, very congested and sneezy. Reallllly hope I'm not getting a cold.

Sauna session did not go as planned. Planned 20 min steam room, 30 min dry sauna, jog in place 400 steps. Settled for 20 / 10, no jogging. All I could take. The steam room just about killed me. Maybe literally... I think I may be damaging myself staying in there that long. Weight is also way up. Sauna training is supposed to increase blood volume, but I am up 6 pounds in the past few days, and leaving the sauna today my feet and ankles were swollen with edema. That can't be good.

New scale arrived today (old one died). Sprung for the fancy body composition stuff. It says my body fat is 5%... and my "metabolic age" is 12. And I should be eating ~4,200 cal / day. Ha. It does break down body fat and muscle by individual arm, leg, trunk, cool, though probably not terribly accurate. Right side a bit more muscular than left. Legs around 2% fat. Also reports water percentage, bone weight, visceral fat. Am I going to log all this stuff? Hell no. But probably a good idea to keep an eye on left / right disparity, and focus a bit more on the left in strength workouts.

I have been worried a bit whether my weight might be too low to run 153 miles on mostly fat. That would take about six pounds of fat. Apparently I only have about eight pounds of fat. Hmmmmm. Supplementing with 100 cal / hour of carbs, figuring average of 12:00 miles, I'm burning about 675 cal / hour, the carbs will only save about a pound of fat. Not to mention, most of that fat is not in my legs.

I don't think I really believe that 5%. Still, < say 8% I do believe. It's going to be interesting.
