Yep, you read that right. Two tempos two days in a row. I swear it wasn't planned. I guess I was just feeling pretty good on the first mile and decided to try to redeem myself from my subpar tempo yesterday. 6:30 pace felt like a decently comfortable pace and anything under 6:20 felt like it required a good bit of effort but it was sustainable. I'm much happier with today. I never stopped and there were a good chunk of hills in there too. There's no way my fitness is any different than yesterday so I think this proves that you can just have on and off days. It was a little cooler today and apparently Minneapolis was covered in smoke yesterday so maybe that had something to do with the difference.
