I am putting OUT this week. Another solid workout today, maybe the best so far? I basically did a 10 mile run, but sort of made it 3 x 2 miles fast with 1 mile recovery. I was imagining I'd do 6 min pace for the intervals and do an up tempo recovery around 7 min, and I really ended up surprising myself in all areas. The first 2 mile interval seemed a bit ambitious, but then the next one also seemed ambitious, but at that point I only had one more interval left, so maybe they weren't actually ambitious. I struggled a bit on the last interval cuz it had a couple nasty hills including the one I always bitch about (apparently someone on Strava named this hill "F**K This Hill in Particular!) but I powered through. The recovery miles felt surprisingly easy. I think because they were faster than a typical recovery pace, my body thought I was still trying to go fast but it wasn't as hard. Idk I'm just theorizing don't hold me to it, mom. I did a couple hill sprints in front of my house after. Super proud of this one. Gonna do the rest of this week's runs in Minocqua cuz I'm going there to RAGE to support the American labor force.
