Cut the race short due to "lightning". Felt so strong thru 10, even though I made a stupid rookie mistake and didn't double tie my laces. Had to tie them around mile 4 or 5.
Walked too much. Lots of serious calf cramps (the are torn up). This was like my long training runs, so shouldn't be a complete surprise. Just wondered if I would have kept pace if I hadn't lost the pacer. Was doing so good until I lost them.
