Notes

Tune-up workout for this weekend's mile.

Prescribed workout: 4 X 600 at 3k pace (1:39) With equal rest jog recovery + 4 X 300 at Mile pace (45) in spikes.

Woke up feeling a little tight but nothing unusual. Met Molz 10:30 at the track. 3 mile WU + drills and 4 strides. Could tell my legs didn't have much pop. My left pinkie toe is still irritated. Legs were beat up but hit 1:39, 1:39, 1:38, 1:38. Was working but not overdoing it. Put my new Nike Mamba's on for the 300's. My toe didn't like that too much. Felt tight on the first one. Need to work on driving my knees. Ran 45, 44, 45... Didn't do the last one because of my toes. Need to get it healthy for the race. Cooled down for just under 20-min. Molz told me to drive my knees more on the 2nd 300, which made things a lot easier.
