Notes

This was possibly my best run of my life. Not based on speed alone but how I felt and everything about the run. My pace didn't fall below 7:30 in any of the miles. I ran at about 75% the whole way. I definitely started to get fired at around mile 9 but I still managed to finish strong and ran my last mile as my fastest mile. I noticed a little dehydration going on toward the end which I will continue to monitor. It was also pretty cold out but I warmed up a lot during the run. I also ran with long johns and a hoody on. So I imagine in a little warmer weather and just running shorts and a singlet on I would be able to run a sub 7:00 pace without any issues. I also believe I had a little left in me toward the end. I feel really good now, and the compression socks worked great again for that run. I will continue to wear compression socks during and after runs as they are a key to my recovery and health. The shoes are really starting to feel a lot better. My shins feel good and I feel really good physically and mentally. Gaining more and more confidence as the marathons approach.
