Redemption, a dish best served in Pennsylvania.

There was nothing to do here. Nothing. The best we could find was a treehouse and a path along a river, Not that exciting. There were some characters here. I went to gas and some lady was screaming at a guy because he didn't ring up her cigarettes and she was looking at me and the other guy in line "What he did was a illegal right he didn't ring up my ciggs?" Lady I don't care I just need $30 of gas. Coco, Cailin and I went to the mall and there were some odd ducks there. A waiter who explained to me I needed to sign a credit card receipt and leave a tip. yaaaa not the first time I've used this there a credit card before. Thanks tho.

The race is ridiculously fast, BUT (there's always a But) the gravel section was tough for K3's. I went back and forth what I should go for it. Then I decided to take the opposite of EJ's advise: rather than wait for it, wait for it wait for it....give it hell. I gave it hell then waited for it, waited for it, waited for it. Cailin's first time seeing her old man run too far, too fast. Coco's first time she was unimpressed with a marathon destination and my first time being reckless and not paying for it too much.

Love me some thongs.

In all seriousness, I'm really happy with the results. I went for it in the grandest way, recognized at mile 14 that I had a side stitch that felt like I was being stabbed, and listened to my body and hung on for a time that I could feel good about. I'm in for Boston 2015, the pressure's off, got PA and now if I go for it again, there's no pressure of needing a BQ.

On the way home we did stop at a cliff hiking area in New York. That was pretty good minus walking down the 250 steps to get down from cliff.
