Workout plan was fexible but I wanted to keep a quick but controlled pace early and finish (maybe 5-7 miles) at race pace (which I was being generous about, something in the 6:10-6:20 range.
I felt fantastic. Henry almost slept through the night and I felt strong and confident after the first mile warm up. The heat was a little tough over the second half and I opted to be conservative with the fast stuff at the end. This still feels like a great place to be in my 4th week of training.
