D'oh. Guess somedays (okay every day) you have to take what the day gives you. Today, it was 30mph winds on Memorial. Shows in the splits.
Mile 1: 5:48 (partially into wind - about .25 miles)
Mile 2: 6:22 (almost all into wind - about 0.8 miles)
Mile 3: 6:05 (about half into wind)
Oh well. 4th overall and 1st ag. 1st "adult" finisher actually. And again was running completely alone after mile 1...no one close in front or behind. Don't think it affected me as much this race. Looking forward to moonlight now...
