2 miles up

3 x 4x400, with 400s all around 1:18 (a few 1:16, 1:17), and rest 40 or so seconds until 2 min, with 400m jog b/w sets.

Felt good. Could have easily done another set, but wanted to not put too much stress on foot (toe is all f'd up again - tape helped today).

1.5 down.

Pretty solid workout. Old man with hydration belt (on a track? I mean, you're never more than 400m from a drink...maybe he was practicing wearing one?) was hogging up lane 1 and never gave it up, but that's okay. He's old. He's out there at 5am. Let him have lane 1 I guess. Nice and cool (56 degrees) which helped too.
