So, next race is 5K coming up June 3. This was a Nads/Jeff inspired "track" workout. 2 x 4,8,8
Two things would have made this easier: An actual track. And a watch with lap thingy. So, the distances are as close as I can get with the RA mapper, and the times are all rounded up, so that 1:09 was a 1:08.something, but I don't have the memory capacity to hold that something.
Couple of things. First, pretty happy I was able to pretty well hold the times (some slippage on the last "800"). Pretty solid. Also, compared to a similar interval workout from March of last year (on a track in Chicago), this was encouraging. Last year I was struggling to churn out 2:50 800's. Even if the distances are off, they ain't off that much.
This was good (though now I'm wondering if it was too fast - I mean, I could do it, but not sure it was ideal, #clueless)
