Back on the Pre-Dawn Patrol and it felt good ... I miss-timed my start and my route to race the train that crosses Atco Ave at 6:30AM ... Still, that gets me back in the house a little later than I'd like, so, I needn't fret too much [I should look at the NJ Transit timetable; maybe there's an earlier one that I can play with?]
The lilacs are in bloom behind the cemetery and near the run-up starting at Mile 3 [or are they wisteria? I can't tell ... might need to Wiki that at some point today]. Still no sign of any fawns around; I hope they're not too grown up already and have lost those cute spots. I heard a woodpecker getting warmed up as I finished ... I highly doubt that it was the same one from before [see April 1st]
