Back on the Road after 5 days off ... Two to Three Times the "Legal Limit" Felt a lot more visible & secure with my Team Tania Blinky off the back. While I waiting at the RR Xing, a Big Ol' Skool Caddy pulled up alongside I heard the windows roll down and the driver asked, in a surprisingly young voice "How far you going?" To my amazement, the driver was NOT some cranky old Aqua-Velav dude, but a Hipster of all people, complete with beanie & Nerd specs. "At least four" I answered, figuring that's all I had time for, but leave it open ended just for fun "I Just finished nine" he countered 'Of course you did' I thought but "Good for you" was what came out [Note: Good For You = GFY, in case you hadn't noticed] "How long you been Running he asked" Now, it occured to me later, that he MAY have been asking how far I'd been running TONITE, but I answered "Since 1982" Yeah, since before you were born ... How's that Color Run Training coming along?
