Notes

Braved the rain this morning; walked out the door into a gentle drizzle with a hearty "Let's do this!!!" I sorta counted on a steady soaking but, as Fate and Luck would have it, I was actually on the tail end of the overnight deluge. By the end of the first mile, the precip was down to a sprinkle; by the 2-mile turn a mist; most of the way home was pretty dry. I had gone out to the beginning of Farm Country to see how much the ponds had grown overnight. They weren't nearly at flood stage, but the geese and duck were having fun just the same as the fog settled upon their watery playground. I had to take a couple side-steps between giant puddles and rather large leaf piles as the morning traffic came by, but I stayed vertical. As I said, I wasn't that soaked as the passed, so I didn't look like a COMPLETE Idiot
