"Wake up and smell the Honeysuckle!" Ever since Beth posted the the honeysuckle was in bloom own in ATL, I've been looking for it ... well it's out; and this route takes me past a veritable WALL of it: 8 feet high and a quater mile long, overgrowing a chain-link fence along the NJ Transit train tracks. I'm glad this landmark have come back this year; last year the NJDOT guys took what looked to be a lawnmover on a backhoe arm and buzzed the whole thing down - BASTARDS!!! I guess the little yellow & white flowers and more resiliant [or defiant?] than the grounds-keepers imagined ... thank goodness. Warm morning sunshine, the scent of pretty flowers, a vigorous run ... How can you go wrong???
