Notes
A delightfully grey, and semi-muggy morning. The shifting breezes made it feel much cooler than 72°; very Autumnal and darn pleasant actually. I caught a 30-second sprinkle about a mile out. With the bike ride behind us, I'm transitioning back to runnerness. I thought "Just three to start with" but kinda forgot to turn right at the mile & a half mark ... oops!!! Lots of bluejays chattering around on the way back; usually that means there's a stray cat or other assorted smallish predatory wildlife rustling about in the roadside brush. I didn't see anything, but I didn't smell skunk, so all was well.
