FINAL leg 2011 Mid-Apocalyptic 4-Horsemen 20K Solo Relay ... As I suspected, and upon review in the booth, my Third Leg that I ran this morning was a shade long [3/10ths, actually] so I adjusted my turn-around accordingly. I totally surpriased myself by making the first mile in 8:20 and to the bottom of The Pit [1.5M] just under 13:00 ... the next 3/10ths of a mile though take you back up a house and a half high, so I had to quote Jens Voigt: "Shut up, legs" ... I was shooting for 28:00, so when I made the light in 22-something, with only 6/10ths to go: "We got this"
