Notes

It's tough for me to get a run in on Mariel's Choir Night. Rehearsal is only 45 minutes [from 6:45 to 7:30]; subtracting the 5-minute drive - including the wait at the stoplight - I only have 35 minutes to play with. But, with a Full Moon rising and warm evening temps bringing the Spring Peepers out already [48° is about their wake-up threshold], there was no way I could resist taking a quick little trot past some of the creeks, ponds, and other squishy places they might be hanging out & singing. Just to make sure I got out quickly, I did my best ex-triathlete transition prep; basically, I wore my Dockers over my running gear when I took D'Kid up to church, and changed very quickly when I got home after dropping her off. I BLASTED through my 3-miles [yeah, I was SHOCKED at my splits, thinking that I must've mismarked them or something], walked once around the block for my cool-down, then threw the Dockers & a sweatshirt back on for pick up back at Assumption. Would I make this a weekly? Stay tuned.
