A nice Saturday trot ... It's good to get out in the sunshine, even if it IS merely a pale glow diffused by the high clouds. Long pants and long sleeves were in order today. No need for a hat as my rabbit-coloered Prefontaine doo is pretty well grown in [yeah, it's gotta go]. At the mile-and-a-half mark, a gentleman blowing the leaves off his lawn - doesn't anyone RAKE anymore??? - gave me a sign almost as well regarded as "Thumbs Up" or "Hang Loose" ... "Cold Beer!!!" he shouted over the blower, gving me the universally accepted "Bottoms Up"
