After being woken up by a rambunctious kitty, and having some time to spare before heading down the Shore, I figured that I'd get out on the road first thing, in case I wasn't able to get out on the Ponytail Parkway along the beach at Exit 0 [Cape May]. This was a smart decision, as we got socked in by rain for an hour or so after arriving, then had a lunch that killed the idea; even AFTER the skies cleared beautifully around 4:00
