The Sun was out [!!!], the streets were clear [!!!], wind was up a bit [just enough to bring a wind-shear tear behind the spex]. On the way past the cemetery, I saw a backhoe rolling in. I hoped he was just there to clear out the pathways, but I'm afraid he was there to do his usual job :-(. I totally surprised myself by making it to the 2-mile turn in just about 17 minutes. I probably could have cracked 34-minutes, if I didn't have to wait at the light for what seemed like THREE cycles before I could finish the last 3/4 mile - no, I DON'T pro-rate my runs for such delays; they are what they are.
