Beautiful Dawn Patrol run ... Good to see the sun out again and enjoy a warmish 40° BEFORE 8:00. The Weather Channel said 31° when I woke up, so I had a sweatshirt on; Immediately upon steping outside I said to myself, "Self. This is gonna be too warm on such a sunny morning" So I took off the fleece and threw a cotton short sleeve over my tech L/S ... adding some gloves, it was perfect. The last of my cough and cold must be gone now, since I made the 2-mile turn in about 17 minutes. Mile 3 brought me past the roosters I'd been neglecting and I heard the drilling of at least THREE woodpeckers in the trees around me. I struggled a bit in the 4th mile and had to take a walkie when a German Sherpard pup came snarling out to me [fortunately he ran out of leader before he reached the roadside]
