Half way through my punk-yoga, Mariel's school called ... Nope, no school today. So what do you do? Go back to bed & wait for later? Nah, take the time to do an extra mile, just to take in the scenery - I know, all this snow has lost it's novelty, but it's still so pretty and peaceful early in the morning; it never really gets old, does it???
The snow was coming down hard, wet and fluffy when I left the house, but had tapered off considerably by ythe time I got back. There's wasn't much more than half an inch of snow on the grass & sidewalks, and only a slushy glaze on the streets [I probably could have skipped the bread bags, but dry feet are happy feet]
