Not too sure what to say. I felt so great at the 5 miler and when the gun went off in the 10 miler I was like I was a different person. It wasn't like there was a bunch of lactic acid in my legs, I just felt bad. I decided I would go out around 6:10's and work into the race. The goal was to get to 5 miles around 31 minutes then let the strong wind push me back. I clipped the first mile at 6:15 and it felt hard. I may have mentally gotten down on myself but decided to see if things would get better by mile 2. I went through at 12:41. I went through mile 3 at 19 minutes and called it. 6:20's were feeling terrible and there was nothing good going to come out of the race. I turned back up to the main road and ran 3 miles back to my car. I don't know if I ate too much in between races or hydrated too much or too little. Tough to say but whatever. Good enough for today.
