National Lottery Run. I guess if you were out front you might have been able to run properly.
Still, I wasn't planning on breaking any records and was aiming for a 9:30 pace to guarantee freshness for the last 300m which was in the Olympic Stadium.
It was strange, the park itself is deadly dull. but as soon as you turn into the stadium even full with 20,000 people it seemed to 'open up' and I found it very eyrie sensation.
The track seemed fast, I don't know if that had something to do with the weirdness of the experience but I definitely felt that moving fast was easier.
A great day! Have a bash again next year if I can get in.
