An interesting run on Pitch Hill tonight, visibility was 5-10m maximum. I found my way to the top without too many problems. On the way down I kept veering into the side of the track because I couldn't see in front of me (despite my new, bright headtorch). I realised that I had taken a wrong turning because I usually take a right hand turn followed by a left after 100m or so. Fortunately, eventually I came across a pile of stones that identifies two tracks converging so knew where I was again. Even so after that I found it difficult to find the metalled road that leads to the graveyard.
Saw one startled rabbit, nothing else.
