Winterclassic 8k. Felt really good. Weather was terrific. Just a little wind, 50 degrees and sunny. Course was a bit muddy in places but not bad. Raced well. 1st 2 miles solid. Even though told myself over and over on 3rd and 4th to focus, slipped off. Ben was in sight as a target but just could not bring him in. Passed a guy on the back loop but then he had a monster kick and blew by me. CRC won the race. The most competitive local race all year. Was 22nd overall and 3rd master. 1.5 warm-up, 4.5 warm down. 27.04,
