Warmed up about 2.5 miles and then warmed down 30 min.
Was about 79 degrees and humid. Went out in the mix thru the mile in 5.07 which was largely a gradual downhill. Around 1.25, pack in front of me pushed a bit more and I chickened out going with them hoping if I held back could catch one of them. Got stuck in no mans land and they did not come back. 2nd mile was 5.24. 3rd was 5.39 which I was disappointed with but uphill and at that point I was protecting the team 3rd spot while Brad and Ben battled ATC for the top 2 spots. Tim Meigs went flying by me with 1200m to go which I was so impressed with how hard he was working. Finished in 16.44. I was 11th overall, 5th in the 46-50 group and about 15 sec behind Ben and Brad. Did my job but a bit disappointed I was not more aggressive and in the mix more. Was pretty comfortable warming down 30 min and ended up doing another run about 2 hours later.
